Pediatric Dental Residency at Primary Children’s Hospital and University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1978
Private dental practice in Ogden for 30 years to present – still learning!
Family:
Married Janis Henrikson in Manti, Utah in 1971
We have six children (five sons and one daughter), and
Eleven wonderful grandchildren, so far - a good start!
Hobbies:
World-wide big game hunting, fishing, nearly all outdoor sports, horses, traveling, farming, reading history, working with youth in church and Boy Scouts
Politics:
Dedicated Republican because I believe in party values;
Two 4-year terms as North Ogden City Councilman;
Friends with former Senators Gladwell and Montgomery who inspired me to run for the Utah Senate;
Elected to Utah Senate in 2004 - District 19 which includes Pleasantview, North Ogden, northern and eastern part of Ogden and South Ogden, Ogden Valley, Morgan County, and Summit County (except Park City and Snyderville Basin).
